From 12-10pm on Saturday, May 2, 2015, Broward College will be presenting the first annual Fort Lauderdale Fringe Festival. There will be a street fair with street artists, performers, vendors, activities for children, and food trucks. If you have never been to a Fringe Festival, you are in for a treat! Fringes have been described as a “performing arts smorgasbord” (theater, dance, puppetry, spoken word, etc.) and they take place worldwide. They are open to the public and all ticket revenues are returned to the performers. Broward College is hoping to create a fun day for the community by creating an open forum of expression for artists.
