Wendi Adelson is a Floridian, born and raised, and executive director of a non-profit that focuses on immigrant advocacy. She serves as Executive Director of the Immigration Partnership & Coalition (IMPAC) Fund. Prior to IMPAC, Adelson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 2015 to 2016 and for seven years was a law professor specializing in immigration at Florida State University. She is an attorney who has taught law students and represented clients in the fields of immigration, child advocacy, and disability rights. She has written for legal journals and produced a manual on special immigrant juvenile status.
Principally organized by Prof. Kari Hebert, Assistant Professor of Political Science and the advisor of the South Campus Political Science Club. #DidYouKnow is a series of events to inform our students and voters about issues that may concern or affect them in the upcoming Midterm elections. The Political Science Club (PSC) and the SBSHS Pathway have invited politically minded guests to offer their political insight at South Campus in rooms we designated “BCCivicSpaces,” spaces for a safe and open dialogue.
The Academic Success Center (ASC) has set up some new reviews to help you through midterms. Building 72, 2nd floor.
Be sure not to miss this annual event presented by the Psychology Club and Nursing Club.
