Join us as we celebrate Earth Week 🌏🌎🌍April 17th & 18th.
We hope to increase awareness and appreciation of Mother Earth’s natural majesty through interactions with #SeahawkNation, our community, local government and Broward College South Campus clubs and organizations with some cool events and activities. We have a Film Festival and an Environmental Fair with the participating organizations:
Science Club, International Club, Psychology Club, Political Science Club, Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society, Project Perch, Florida Forest Service, Sea Turtle Oversight Protection, South Florida Water Management District, Imagine Our Florida, Clearwater Aquarium

Study Abroad
The William E. Greene (WEG) Scholarship for Semester Study Abroad pays partial expenses (tuition, housing and most meals) for one student wishing to study abroad in the fall 2019 semester in Spain, Peru, Costa Rica or Ecuador
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and have completed 12 college-level (1000/2000 level) credit hours at Broward College. Applicants must have also successfully completed ENC 1101. There are no residency requirements, and students do NOT need to be financial aid eligible in order to apply.
Applications for the Fall 2019 scholarship must be submitted to me, physically or via email by Wednesday, April 24, by 4:00pm. Students can contact abroad@broward.edu should they have any questions!
