The COVID-19 Seahawk Outreach Student Support form and links for $450 that may be awarded per student available bottom of the blog.

Continue to check for official updates on Broward.edu/Coronavirus.

The college has established a student support fund to provide financial assistance to students impacted by COVID19. Students needing assistance can apply using this link. Applications can also be found on the COVID19 Student Resource Guide  and on students’ BC One Access.

Up to $450 may be awarded per student. To qualify, students should be currently taking classes, be degree-seeking, and have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file if eligible to complete. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and until funds are exhausted. A submitted application does not guarantee that funds will be awarded, and only one Student Support Fund-COVID-19 related application per person will be accepted.

Students can request assistance if they are experiencing hardships in the following areas: housing, transportation, health, job loss, technology, academics, childcare, and essential bills.

Please note that this is not a loan and students are not expected to repay the funds disbursed.

Please help us by sharing this information with your students, faculty, and staff as we work together as one Seahawk family in support of our students.

If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact Esmeralda Sweeney or Caleb Cornelius

If the students have any questions, please encourage them to contact Seahawk Outreach Services (SOS) via email sos@broward.edu.
